Jeanette Avis Ponder Vaughn, age 77, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on August 23, 2026. She was born in Douglasville, Georgia on January 22, 1949, daughter of the late John Ponder and the late Leonna Whitten Ponder. She was a member of West Metro Church of God.

She is survived by her husband: Anthony Paul Vaughn; children: Melanie Gammon (Chris), Wanda Gober, Barbie Ainsworth (Brent), Anthony Vaughn; grandchildren: Brittany Gammon, Krista Gammon, Mason Haggadone, Dylan Haggadone, Erica Haggadone; great-grandchildren: Charleigh Marlow, Bryson Lamar, Jameson Haggadone, Carter Haggadone, Kolston Haggadone, Karoline Haggadone; sister: Edith Ponder; brothers: Dennis Ponder (Debra), Randy Ponder Sherry.

According to her wishes she was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
