Jeffrey "Jeff" J. Porfert, age 59, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. He was born on May 14, 1966, in Bayport, Long Island, New York, to the Robert F. Porfert and the late Nancy Mitchell Realmuto.

He found true enjoyment as an apprentice lineman, but was injured while on the job and that ended his career. He found joy and peace on the water. Jeff had a love for cars, especially hot rods and enjoyed the art of paint and body work.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff Porfert, Jr. (Anna) and Luke Porfert; his parents, Robert and Marie Porfert; sisters, Dawn Gillich and Robynn Sistarelli; brothers, Robert Porfert, Jr. and Daniel Porfert; grandchildren, Harley Porfert and Angel Porfert. Also important in his life were his furbabies, Blanco and Karma.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 12 Noon until 4:00 PM. Following the visitation and in keeping with his wishes he will be cremated.
