With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne Williams, who left us on May 28, 2026, at the age of 55. Jeff was born on July 11, 1970, and spent his life in the small town of Whitesburg, Georgia. A loving husband, son, father, and friend, Jeff was known for his infectious smile and kind spirit.

He took immense pride in caring for his family, always ensuring that his wife, Michelle, his parents, J.W. and Karene, and their children felt cherished and supported. Jeff was a devoted father to his daughters, Morgan and Mallory, and his sons, Dakota, Stephen, and Will. He found joy in the laughter of his grandchildren and the time that he spent with them and his family.

An avid fisherman, Jeff loved spending time outdoors, casting lines, and sharing stories by the water. His passion for motorcycles extended beyond the garage, as he was a talented mechanic known for his keen understanding of every nut and bolt.

In addition to his parents, J.W. and Karene Williams, Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Fowler Williams; his daughters & son-in-law, Morgan Williams and Mallory and Blake Head; his sons & daughters-in-laws, Dakota and Cassidy Williams, Stephen and Tiffany Anthony, and Will and Christina Bishop; grandchildren, Cali Vanhorn, Rylee Grace, Kayleigh Norwood, Kolton Head, Amelia Bishop, Hazel Anthony, Everland Bishop, Madelyn Bishop, and Dawson Bishop, who adored him deeply. Leaving behind to share his memory are several dear friends, Mark Bishop, Jeff Fowler, Mike McClinton, and Lyn Johnson.

Jeff's presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jeff's life will be held in the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Minister Caryl Strange officiating. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dakota Williams, Stephen Anthony, Jeff Fowler, Tracy Duke, Blake Head, and Jimmy Chatham.
