Jennifer Mae Piper, age 40, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. Jennifer was born on February 7, 1984, in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Fred C. Piper and Glenda Ames Piper.

Jennifer graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's in Flute Performance. Then moved on to receive her Master of Music degree in Flute Performance with a related field in Musicology from the University of North Texas. Furthermore, Jennifer studied at the Hartt School of Music at Hartford University, where she received her Doctor of Musical Arts in Flute Performance and completed her dissertation entitled Dance Influences in Johann Sebastian Bach's Partita in A Minor for Solo Flute, BWV 1013. She worked tirelessly for Florida Gulf Coast University as a Student Success Training and Intervention Specialist.

Jennifer was welcomed into Heaven by her daughter, Elizabeth Jane Piper-Topazi.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her husband, Scott Topazi; uncle, Edward Ames; sister, Corrine Kay Dujsik; niece, Olivia Coats; and nephew, David Grayson.

A graveside service will honor and celebrate Jennifer's life on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM from Carroll Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
