Jesse William Milner, of Bremen, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 in a local hospital. He was born in Cuthbert, Georgia, January 20, 1933, son of the late Jesse Hamilton Milner and Thelma Mae Miller Milner. Mr. Milner was a 25 year employee of the Buddy Kimball Enterprises and a member of the Whitesville United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Mann. Survivors include children; Teresa and Jay Abbott of Douglasville, Jesse Eugene and Nell Milner of Rome, Leslie Wood, Bremen, Brenda and Thomas Phillips, Jr., Adairsville; (8) grandchildren, (17) great grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jane Milner of Rossville. Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Brother Kenneth Hennesy officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Michael Abbott, Christopher Abbott, Jesse Milner, Billy Folds, Scott Henderson, Spencer Roberts, Clay Marlow and Mitchell Marlow. Recorded music will be provided. Interment will follow in Little Vine Church Cemetery.
