Jimmy Eugene Queen, age 76 of Winston, Georgia, passed away on May 17, 2020.  He was born on July 21, 1943 in Cobb County, Georgia son of the late J. C. Queen and the late Dera May Queen.  Jimmy retired from Lowes as a Truck Driver and then retired from the Maintenance Department of Douglas County Government.  He was a member of Solid Rock Church where he loved to play the guitar and sing with the Solid Rock Gospel Singers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nelva Dorene "Bonnie" Marcantel Queen. He is survived by his children: Tina (Scott) Bittner; Gary (Jenny) Cosby; Michael (Kim Boatwright) Cosby; Tim Queen; and Keith Queen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews also survive. Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, a private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bobby Cheek officiating.
