Joe Henry Davis, Sr., age 85, of Hiram, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026. He was born in Daphne, Alabama on March 21, 1940 to the late John Henry Davis, Jr. and the late Florence Yelding Davis. Joe was retired from Chrysler after 21 years of service. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Joe is survived by his wife, Willie Pearl Chatman Davis; children, Rhonda Davis, Joe H. Davis, Jr. (Annette), Natalie Davis-Draper (Navon), Brian Davis (Lakisha), Leah Davis, Kerri Davis; 14 grandchildren, Rasia Eleni, Reginald Gross, Jr., Jordan Davis, Aisya Davis, Tyler Davis, Christian Davis, Rian Bone, Dominic Burnam, Brandon Davis, Morgan Lee, LeBria Casher, Kendrick Casher, Nyah Casher, Dakarai Davis; 6 great-grandchildren, Gabriel Reeves, Kristopher Reeves, Jeremiah Reeves, Arynn Reeves, Micah Davis, Ari Lee; sister, Celestine Valrie; brother, Wardell Davis.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Davis, Jr.; mother, Florence Yelding Davis; wife, Elainer Davis; 9 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.
