John C. Clifton, Jr., age 57, of Austell, passed away Tuesday November 03, 2020.  He was born in Greensboro, Georgia on March 25, 1963.  John served in the United States Army Reserve.  He was employed with Kia as an automobile mechanic.  John loved deer hunting and hot rods. John is survived by his wife, Denise Clifton; daughter: Ivory Clifton; parents: John C. Clifton, Sr and Drenda Prickett Clifton; sister: Ladonna Womack and her husband, Mike; brothers: Richard Clifton, Steve Clifton and his wife, Cathy; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ronald and Wanaza Allman; sister-in-law: Jeanene Bishop and her husband, Doug; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Friday November 06, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 pm.  The funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Steve Clifton and Pastor Jerry Barrett officiating. He will be cremated following the service.
