John Dennis Minnich, 73 of Roopville passed away on June 18, 2026.

He was born on March 19, 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of the late John L. Minnich and Betty Amyx Minnich.

John was an Alumni of West Georgia College and formerly a General Manager of Ingles.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Marcia Preister.

Survivors include sisters, Janie Alston (Leighton) and Cheryl Atkins; nephews, Michael Atkins (Mary) and Ryan Dodson (Jessica); nieces, Amy Peasley and Jaime Hill (Brandon); a son, Jake Minnich and a grandson, Carson Minnich.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. A service will be planned at a later date
