It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Leopoldo Salinas II, age 54, of Villa Rica, who departed this life on August 22, 2026. John was born on March 1, 1972, to the late John Salinas Sr. and the late Laura Jean Salinas.

John is survived by his devoted spouse, Terri Salinas, as well as his daughter; Jessica and Chaunxi Zou, sons; John and Larissa Townsend and Kevin and Linda Townsend and 11 grandchildren.

An avid sports enthusiast, John deeply enjoyed Atlanta Braves baseball and UGA football, passions that enriched his life and brought him joy. He was also a talented musician who loved to play guitar and sing, sharing his musical gifts with family and friends.

John will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the community, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

In accordance with John's wishes, his body will be cremated, and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
