Johnnie Macksue Caldwell Herrel, age 65, passed away at her home on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on September 24, 1959, daughter of the late Dennie Caldwell and Inez Lester. Johnnie worked as the Manager of Aqua Tots for over fifteen years.

She was a faithful member of the Bowdon Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking and working with her flowers. Her main love was her grandchildren and the time she spent with them cooking and making cherished memories together.

Survivors include her children Sarah (Eric) Elsberry of Woodland, Alabama and John (Tonya) Fulks of Bremen; sister, Hazel (David) Sumnerour of Bremen; brothers, Patrick Caldwell, Samuel (Sarah) Caldwell, Daniel (Charlsie) Caldwell and Lonnie (Marie) Neace, all of Bremen; and her precious grandchildren, Emma Grace Elsberry, Tinley Hope Elsberry, Everleigh Faith Elsberry, Austin Collins and Kaitlyn Collins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Minister Josh Posey officiating at The Bowdon Church Of Christ.
