Johnnie Dodson Malen, age 72, of Temple, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2025. Born in Sanford, Florida, on September 26, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John Clinton Dodson and Jesse 'Howard' Dodson.

Johnnie was an Army veteran and a dedicated accountant, known for her commitment to her work and her strong sense of duty. She had a zest for life and was an avid animal lover, always finding joy in the company of her pets and the beauty of nature. She was also deeply devoted to her family, and will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and unwavering love.

In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Ann Barnes and Rosie Robinson. She is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Bruce Malen; her children, Andrew Malen (Katie) and Kari Malen (Loren Bell); and her sister, Patricia Faye Dodson.

In accordance with her wishes, Johnnie will be cremated, and her family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date to honor her memory.
