Jose Monroy Chavez, age 56, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on February 28, 2026. He was born in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexio on August 18, 1969, son of the late Jose Monroy Silvua and the late Tranquilina Chaves Medrano.

He is survived by his wife: Blanca E Garcia; children: Mark Monroy, Judith Monroy, Giselle Garcia; grandchildren: Jospeh Higareda and King Garcia; two sisters and four brothers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Kathy Garcia.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Juanqin officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Garden.
