Judy Eldridge McClain, 69, of Winston, GA, formerly from Indianola, MS passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

Judy was born on October 18, 1955, to Grover Travis Eldridge and Annie Lou Eldridge. Judy worked for Lewis Grocer and SuperValu for many years. Judy was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Judy loved camping, dancing, classic cars, and riding around in her golf cart. She was a loving Mama and Nana. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Milton Wayne McClain. In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her two daughters, Jacqueline McClain Laney (David) of Weatherford, OK, and Emily McClain Bowman (Jody) of Villa Rica, GA. Also, six grandchildren: Lawson Laney, Jeston Laney (Bailey), Eli Laney, Kylee Bowman, Adelyn Bowman, and Nathaniel Bowman. She is their "Nana", and they are the joy of her life. Judy is survived by her sister, Janet Stewart (Scott) of Belzoni, MS. Judy and Wayne deeply care for Joni Hughes, of Douglasville, GA, affectionately known as their "middle daughter". Judy is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Pate.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel, 12651 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, GA on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Central Baptist Memorial Garden.
