Katherine Brenda 'Darnell' Robinson of Whitesburg, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025. She was born in Buchanan, Georgia on August 3, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph Lorraine Darnell and the late Nellie Dean 'Price' Darnell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Robinson; half sisters, Florence Dees and Enice Bradley.

Survivors include her daughters, Jill Horsley (Tim) of Whitesburg, Julie Wickersham (Nolen) of Arkansas; and son, Brett Robinson (Kim) of Franklin; grandchildren, Jonathan Horsley (Mary), Rebecca Horsley, Joshua Horsley (Darlene), Derrick McClain (Lexi), Drew McClain, Kate Schmidt (Kaleb), Michael Spruell (Chelsey), Courtney Spruell, Greg Dixson, Jordan Wickershaw (Nikole); 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Horace Darnell (Sandy) of Alabama.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 27 at 11 am from Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Horace Darnell, Brother Greg Dixson, and Reverend Jim Barkley officiating. Jonathan Horsely, Joshua Horsley, Derrick McClain, Drew McClain, Michael Spruell, and Jordan Wickersham will serve as pallbearers.
