Kathy Denise Maxwell, age 65, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on September 27, 2025. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 29, 1960 daughter of Marjorie Hulsey and the late Robert Ellis Whit McCrary. She was a Special Education Teacher with Douglas County School System for over twenty-five years

She is survived by her husband: Randall Lee Maxwell; daughters: Amanda Maxwell (Daniel Lairsey) and Chelsea Edenfield; grandchildren: Abigail Dollar, Bryson Maxwell, Sage Edenfield, Charlee Edenfield; sister: Terri Lynn Gibbs; brothers: Robert E. McCrary and Lewis Eugene McCrary.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2 p.m.

The memorial service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Roy Frashier officiating.
