Kenneth Neal Askew, 71, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024. He was born on November 26, 1952. He is the son of the late Jack Warren Askew and the late Lucille Bertie Beck Askew. He was a member of Mars Hill Community Church. He is a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Askew and Gary Askew.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Arowana Lea Twilley Askew; daughters, Janie (Brandon) Henderson and Anslea Askew; sisters, Brenda (Tony) Purcell and Linda (Mike) Hammonds; grandchildren, Jace and Summer Henderson.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The service will follow at 11:00 AM. In accordance with his wishes, Ken will be cremated following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Franklin County Florida Sheriff's Office Charity Fund.
