Lance B. Cole, age 86, of Bremen, passed away August 4, 2025, at a local healthcare facility. He was born on March 14, 1939, in Bremen, the son of the late Paul Cole and Maudie Alma Smith Cole. He was a bus driver for Greyhound, a member of the Army Reserves, and a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Beth Buttram Cole, and brothers, Shirley Cole and Larry Cole.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Wallace Cole; step-children, Roy Garner (Pam), Wiley Garner (Harlee), and Jennifer Reagan (Stan); grandchildren, Alvin Garner (Ashley), Trevor Garner (Mandy), Taylor Reagan, Trey Reagan, Lillian Garner (Ethan), and Elias Garner; great-grandchildren, McKinnley Garner, Peyton Fowler, Nathan Garner, Phoenix Williams and Axel Garner.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services will be conducted on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Stevie Waddell officiating. Alvin Garner, Trevor Garner, Elias Garner, Trey Reagan, Matthew Huey, and Michael Huey will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
