Larry Edward O'Neal, Sr., age 81, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026. He was born on March 19, 1944 in Pine Mountain, Georgia, son of the late Edward O'Neal and the late Lucille Dodgen O'Neal. Larry was retired from Blue Circle Cement. He was a member of Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church.

Larry is survived by his wife, Brenda Daniell O'Neal; children, Connie Myrie and her husband Nevill, Eddie O'Neal; grandchildren, Keri Fellows, Kinzie Yates, Phoenix Verdell; 2 great-grandchildren, Isaac and Fiona; sisters, Myra Costner (Tommy), Carol Lewis (Steve), Sandra Wigley (Charlie); brothers, Bobby O'Neal (Gail), Ricky O'Neal (Teresa), Mike O'Neal (Janice); many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Lamar O'Neal and Phillip Henry O'Neal.

A graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 with Pastor James Pitts officiating.
