Mr. Lee Connelius Rush, age 72, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. He was born October 26, 1939 in Tallapoosa, Georgia the son of the late Marvin Lee Rush and Minnie Madge Payton Rush. Mr. Rush was a truck driver for Goldkist with 26 years of service and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joey Rush and a brother, Barney Rush. Survivors include his wife, Mervin Lee Rush; children and their spouses, Mark Rush of Carrollton, Rebecca & Dallas Harmon of Cartersville, Ronnie & Deneen Rush and Jonathan & Mia Rush all of Carrollton; sisters and spouses, Joyce Helen Lloyd, Betty & James Huddleston, Louise & Jimmy Yates and Judy & Phil Gardner; brother and sister in law, Ronnie & Janice Rush; grandchildren, Kelly Rush, Kristin Rush, Macy Rush, Noah Rush, Kylie Rush, Bethany Harmon and Timothy Harmon; also a great grandchild, Avery. A private burial was conducted at an earlier date in Carroll Memory Gardens and a Celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 3 PM from Beulah Baptist Church for family and friends.
