Lee
Turner
Dec 9, 1977 — Apr 25, 2025
Lonnie "Lee" Turner II, 47, of Roopville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. He was born on December 9, 1977, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Nancy Chambers Kaylor and the late Richard Turner.
Lee graduated from Mt. Zion High School, where he developed a strong foundation for his future career. He began working as an electrician for Conway Electric, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience over several years. Afterward, he transitioned to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), where he dedicated the last five years of his career, contributing his expertise to various projects and earning the respect of his colleagues.
A passionate supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs, Lee loved following their games and enthusiastically celebrating their triumphs. He found great joy in tending to his yard in his free time. However, nothing brought him more happiness than the moments spent with his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Folds Turner; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Bob Kaylor; his children, Beverley and J.P. Dodson, and Kurtis and Morgan Dawson; his grandchildren, Karlee Dodson, Brayden Dawson, Kylee Dodson, Karson Dawson, Korbin Dodson, and Karter Dawson; his sisters, Brandy Anderson, Wendy Cooley, and Candice Eason; his brother, Robin Aderhold; his step-sister, Brittney Bailey; his step-brother, TC Bailey; his nieces, Natalie Kaylor, Kelsey Anderson, and Lily Arroyo; and his grandniece, Elayna Hall.
