Ms. Lillie Ruth Ward passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on December 18, 1934, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late John Bartley and Annie Mae Hubbard Bartley, Lillie Ruth was a beacon of kindness and warmth in the lives of all who knew her.

Lillie Ruth dedicated many years of her life to sewing at Sewell's Manufacturing Company, where her talent for creating was a point of pride. She poured her heart into her work, reflecting her passion for the craft. Outside of work, she cherished her faith as a devoted member of the Church of God, always radiating love for Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Ward, and several siblings, who surely welcomed her with open arms. Lillie Ruth is survived by her dear niece, Martha Williamson, along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will carry her memory in their hearts.

In keeping with Lillie Ruth's wishes, her body will be cremated, and a private service will be held in the coming days.

Lillie Ruth will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her loving spirit and the impact she had on all of us.
