Linda Patterson Clark, age 72, of Whitesburg, Georgia passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 9, 2016 at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton. She was born May 17, 1943 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Prince Albert Patterson and the late Lois Thompson Patterson. She retired from Chalkline, having worked in the Inspection Department for fifteen years. She later also worked for the Carroll County School System and was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Clark; a sister, Florence Elizabeth Patterson and four brothers: Shirley Patterson, Johnny Patterson, Billy Patterson, and Roy Patterson. Survivors include sisters and brother-in-law: Faye & Windle Hite of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Barbara Gentry of Carrollton, Georgia, and Bernice Cochran of Sharpsburg, Georgia; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Terry & Susie Patterson of Heard County, Georgia and Larry & Gwen Patterson of Coweta County, Georgia. In keeping with her wishes, the body will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Whitesburg.
