Linda Shaw Clement, age 83, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was born on June 2, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late Lawrence Shaw and the late Rose McGee Shaw. She was a member of Douglasville Baptist Temple.

Linda was a devoted and loving mother, an incredible grandmother, and an amazing great-grandmother. She poured her heart into raising her four children. As a mother, she was strong, patient, and endlessly supportive.

As a grandmother, Linda's love only grew. She cherished her grandchildren and made each of them feel special. Whether she was offering advice, sharing stories, or simply spending time with them, she made sure they always knew how deeply they were loved. She had a gentle way of listening, encouraging, and comforting, and her grandchildren will forever carry her warmth in their hearts.

Being a great-grandmother was one of Linda's greatest blessings. She adored her great-grandchildren and loved watching them grow. From the moment they were born, she embraced them with the same tender care she had shown all her life. Her love for babies began when she was a little girl and never faded—she had a natural gift for nurturing, protecting, and loving little ones.

Linda was also a devoted wife to her beloved husband, William Clement. They shared 65 beautiful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, faith, hard work, and family. Linda loved William deeply, standing faithfully by his side through every season of life. Their marriage was a true example of commitment, partnership, and enduring love.

Linda was truly the glue that held her family together. Her legacy is one of deep love, strength, and unwavering devotion. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on through the many lives she touched, the family she built, and the generations who will always remember her love.

Linda is survived by her husband, William Clement; children, Julie Hill (Ed), Paul Clement, Christine Costaneo (Danny); grandchildren, Ivy Montgomery (Andrew), Victoria Crosswhite (Christopher), Evan Hill.

In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her son, Bradley Clement and her granddaughter, Ashley Clement.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Douglasville Baptist Temple. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Danny West officiating.

Interment will be at on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Georgia
