Obituary

Mrs. Linda Diane Morgan, age 75, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026. Born on September 23, 1950, in Columbia, Tennessee, Linda lived a life defined by unwavering faith, selfless service, and deep devotion to her family.

A proud graduate of Central High School in Columbia, Tennessee, Linda spent many years as a dedicated and hardworking employee in the manufacturing industry. She devoted 19 years of service to Sony before continuing her career with Honda Lock, where she worked on the assembly line until her retirement. Her strong work ethic, reliability, and determination were qualities that earned the respect of her coworkers and reflected the values by which she lived her life.

Linda's greatest passion was her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of Renew Church, where she founded the women's outreach ministry and was actively involved in various women's groups. She found great joy in serving others through the church's monthly benevolence and community dinners, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she was needed. Her church family knew her as a devoted prayer warrior whose faith remained steadfast through every season of life. For nine years, Linda faithfully gathered with her pastors and fellow believers each Sunday evening to pray for her church, its leadership, and the needs of others. Her quiet strength, compassionate heart, and unwavering belief in the power of prayer left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Above all else, Linda loved God and treasured her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved, offering encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional support. Her family was the center of her world, and the legacy of faith and love she leaves behind will continue to guide them for generations to come.

She is survived by her loving husband, Cheryl D. Morgan, with whom she shared 56 cherished years of marriage; her daughter, Michelle Morgan; her grandson, Jeremy D. Collins; her great-grandchildren, Anna Bellie Collins and Ashton Collins, and their mother, Laura Collins; her sisters, Barbara Foster; her brothers, Mickey Lanier and Steven Foster; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Connie and Mark Paschal; and a number of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Foster and Margaret Virginia Latimer Foster; her grandson, David B. Collins; her brother, Harry Lanier; and her brother-in-law, Carl Morgan.

Though her family grieves her absence, they rejoice in knowing that Linda's faith has become sight and that she now rests in the presence of the Savior she faithfully served throughout her life. Her example of prayer, service, kindness, and devotion will forever remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
