Linda Diane Thompson Trawick, age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was born in Austell, Georgia on May 18, 1947, daughter of the late Ray Thompson and the late Kathryn Duke Thompson. Linda worked as an accountant for more than 20 years at Octanorm, USA. She was a member of Prays Mill Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deana Johnson (David); grandchildren, Cody Griggs, Christopher Johnson (Jessica), Darrell Johnson (Shenna), Josh Thompson; great-grandchildren, Rory Johnson, Riker Johnson, Charleigh Johnson, Ollie Johnson, Rose Johnson, Declan Johnson, Dean Johnson, Elise Griggs, Samuel Johnson; sister, Jo Anne Thompson; brother, Wayne Thompson (Ann); many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thyle Trawick; daughter, Amy Griggs, brother and sister-in-law, David and Carolyn Thompson; nephew, Jeff Thompson, and her fur baby Toby.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 4 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home with Pastor Happy Howard officiating.

Interment will be at Pray's Mill Baptist Church Cemetery.
