Lloyd David Dixon, age 75, of Temple, Georgia, formerly of Winston, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026. He was born on May 21, 1951, in Cadiz, Kentucky, son of the late Lindsay Dixon and the late Agnes Adams Dixon. Lloyd was the owner of Dixon Plumbing and Septic Company. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane Hargrove Dixon; son, David Dixon (Tammy); grandchildren, Lindsay Dixon, Emily Dixon, Clayton Dixon; sister, Louise Parker; brother, Harold Dixon; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Hightower's Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at Poplar Springs Baptist Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 with Pastor Wayne Meadows officiating. Joah Smith, Ethan Hunter, Jamey Boswell, Jamie Lee, Justin Walton, Payton Tutterow, Rick Myrick, and Dustin Wilson will be serving as pall bearers. Scott Bittner, Jeff Robinson, Tony Mote, Harry Carter and Max Falls will be serving as honorary pall bearers.

Interment will be at Cool Springs Cemetery.
