Lois Weems McGukin, of Atlanta passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born in Thornton, Arkansas, July 17, 1935, daughter of the late Reverend David Weems and Helen Townsend Weems. Survivors include her husband, Lester (Les) McGukin of Atlanta; children, Mark A. McGukin of Carrollton, Julia M. Brown of Mariettaand a sister, Nancy ValSamin of Brooklyn, New York. Graveside services will be Sunday, September 20 at 2:00 PM from Center Point United Methodist Church Cemetery.
