Mrs. Lola I. Reeves of Foster Street, Carrollton, Ga., passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008. She was born January 12, 1918, in Guntersville AL. the daughter of R.P. Vest and Lizzie King Vest. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, H.W. Reeves; sisters, Sue Ward, Thelma Fieldin, and Louise Cummins; brothers, Junior Vest and Hoover Vest; and 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Robert Reeves, Lester Reeves, Rebecca and Milton Adamson, Barbara and Charles Akin, Ellis Reeves all of Carrollton and Sherry Witmore of California; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February, 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Bo Hendon. Pallbearers will be Shane Reeves, Milton Adamson, Danny Reeves, Chris Hulsey, Charles Massengale, and Jamie Trotti. Interment will follow in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
