Mrs. Lorene C. Crawford, age 86, of Burns Rd., Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008. She was born November 8, 1921 in Montezuma, Georgia the daughter of the late Mattie Taylor Cromer and Henry Cromer. Mrs. Crawford was a manager for S & S Cafeteria and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Crawford. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Mike & Freda Crawford of Carrollton, Ga.; a brother, Eddie Cromer of San Francisco; three grandchildren, Jamie Crawford of Church Point, LA., Jason Lim of Columbus, Ohio and Stephanie Davis of Carrollton, TX.; also three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Thurman officiating. Pallbearers will be James Perry, Jay Shepard, Greg Falls, Anthony Johnson, Ricky Rayburn and Tim Cole. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. Friends may pay there respects at the funeral home after 11 AM on Friday and the family will receive friends from 4 PM until 6 PM.
