Emma Margaret Sanders Kimball of Douglasville passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 in a local health facility. She was born in Haralson County, January 25, 1926, daughter of the late Homer C. Sanders and Grace Gertrude Edwards Sanders. She was retired from Haralson County Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she was the Administrator for a number of years. Mrs. Kimball was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Douglasville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kimball. Survivors include her sons, William Kimball of Douglasville; Donald Donnie Kimball of Pensacola, FL; a brother, John Robert Sanders of Wedowee, AL; grandchildren, Natalie and John Brandhorst of Atlanta, Roxanne Kimball of Douglasville, Gina and Michael Whitfield of Douglasville, Glenda Kimball Howison of Atlanta, Randy and Kristy Kimball, Douglasville, Cindy and Ryan Cortez, Douglasville; (20) great grandchildren and (2) great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. Services will be Sunday, March 6 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Elder Randy Kimball and Elder Kim Hardin officiating. Michael Whitfield, Colter Westray, Ty Cortez, Randy Kimball, Will Small, Ryan Cortez, Jake Whitfield and Cole Kimball will serve as pallbearers. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
