Margaret Ann Williams, age 75 of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was born October 22, 1949 in Knoxville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Louise Boatman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dally Jack "Shady" Williams, Jr.; a sister, Jeannie Garrett; and brothers, Joe Boatman and Bob Boatman.

Survivors include, her children Jackie (Robert) Rountree of Gadsden, Alabama and Gene (Jennifer) Williams of Mobile, Alabama; sister, Dinah Parker of Lawrenceville; a brother, Bill Boatman of Douglasville; thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at the funeral home with the service to follow immediately after visitation at 11:00 am in the Hightower Funeral Home Chapel with her son, Gene Williams officiating.
