Ms. Marisa A. Willis, age 30, of W. Hwy 166, Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008. She was born July 30, 1977 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of Terry Willis and the late Elaine Willis. Marisa was a member of Son Rise Baptist Church where she was also a member of the choir and a leader in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry. She had a love for fishing and gardening. Marisa was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Jackson Willis; and grandparents, Otis R. Jackson, Sr., Vivian Holloway Jackson and Sarah Willis. Survivors include her father, Terry Willis; fianc, Chris Gibbs of Carrollton; grandfather, Donald Willis of Villa Rica; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 4 PM from Son Rise Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Widener and Mrs. Audrey Smith officiating. Music will be provided by the church choir. Pallbearers will be Trent Conner, Gared Conner, Bo Jackson, Derek Guice, Hayes Jackson, Donnie Pollard, Jeremy Harris and Scott McClure.
