Martha Ann Carpenter Hay, age 85, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026. She was born in Quincy, Florida on July 31, 1940, daughter of the late Lee Carpenter and the late Lois Irene Lewis.

Martha is survived by her children, Jeffery William Hay (Donna), Deborah Seabrook (Billy), Sarah Floyd (Malcolm), Mark Dwayne Hay; grandchildren, David Seabrook, Christopher Seabrook, Allison Holloway, Matthew Floyd, Morgan Hay, Kirsten Hay, Jacob Floyd; great-grandchildren, Carter Seabrook, Sarah Kate Seabrook, Hunter Holloway, Brock Holloway, Sophia Floyd, Bella Holloway; sisters, Cheryl Moore (Tony), Debbie Avant (Frank), Cindy Adams (Kenny); brothers, Donnie Carpenter (Lynda), Roger Carpenter (Lisa).

In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, William David Hay; siblings, Robert Carpenter, Richard Carpenter, Ronnie Carpenter, Theresa Carpenter, Linda Cloyd, Lee Allen Carpenter; grandson, Zachary Floyd.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 17 at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. David Seabrook, Matt Floyd, Jacob Floyd, Christopher Seabrook, Morgan Hay and Carter Seabrook will be serving as pall bearers.
