Martha Jean Hardy, age 82, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on October 31, 2025. She was born in Cherokee, Alabama on September 24, 1943, daughter of the late A.T. Hardy and the late Odeen Williams Hardy.

She is survived by her sister: Gloria Saunders; brother: Lamon Hardy and his wife Carolyn; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law: Rayburn and Jo Hardy; sisters: Nancy Ann Hardy, Marlyn Sue Hardy; brother-in-law: Blake Saunders.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Rick Eaves officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Garden.
