Martha Ann Spurlin McDaniel, age 96, of Douglasville passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 18, 1929, daughter of the late Roger L. Spurlin and the late Mary Lou Maxwell Spurlin.

Ann is survived by her children, Harry Thomas McDaniel, Jr. (Lawanna), Manita McDaniel DeFoor (Don), David Conrad McDaniel (Tina); 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; special friend, Judy McLain.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Thomas McDaniel; sister, Louise Spurlin Davis; brother, Roger L. Spurlin.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brian Berryhill officiating.

Interment will be at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30310.
