Mary Ann Poore Driver, age 82, of Whitesburg, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1943 in Lagrange, Georgia to the late James Poore and Frances Henry Poore.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend to many. She was a member of Rotherwood Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Georgia. Mary Ann was a devoted housewife and invested her life into taking care of everyone around her. She loved spending time with her family and it was evident through her daily actions. Mary Ann was proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage. She was a woman of many gifts and talents and had a deep connection with nature. Mary Ann loved birds and flowers and could make anything grow. She could paint, quilt, play the harmonica, and even wrote a book. Despite her many gifts and talents, she was humble. She was selfless, generous and kind. She loved deeply and unconditionally…she will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Driver and brother-in-law Dan Driver.

She is survived by her son Gerald Driver and daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Robert McInnis; grandchildren Brittany Driver, Blake Driver, Kayanna Driver, Jacob McInnis and Toby Driver; sisters Linda Sloan and Kathy Thompson; sister-in-law Kathryn Driver; former daughter-in-law Kyla Driver; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mary Ann's wishes, her body will be cremated and the family plans to have a memorial service at a later date.
