Mary Sue Robinson Green of Bremen passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born in Carroll County, June 29, 1938, daughter of the late John Dearyl Robinson and Mildred B. Robinson Robinson. Mrs. Green worked as a floral designer for Lous Florist for a number of years and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Ivester, Violet Curtis and a brother, Harry Robinson. Survivors include her husband, E. W. Junior Green of Bremen; two daughters, Shelia and Jimmy Mauk of Bremen, Susan and Richard Jones of Buchanan; four brothers, Billy and Benita Robinson of Ranburne, AL, Johnny Boyce Robinson of Bremen, Jimmy and Linda Robinson of Muscadine, AL, Larry and Joan Robinson of Heflin, AL; grandchildren, April and Russell Terrell of Carrollton, Ashley and Eric Jones, Bremen, Jim Mauk, Bremen, Lindsey and Brent McCollum of Buchanan, John and Mallory Snuggs, III of Bremen; (8) Great grandchildren, (7) Nieces and (10) Nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Services will be Thursday, March 10 at 2:00 PM from the Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Van Brown, Reverend Darryl Robinson and Reverend Tony Samples officiating. Music will be furnished by the McBrayer Family. Barry Robinson, Jeff Robinson, Tim Green, Jackie Green, Randy Green, Russell Terrell, Eric Jones, Brent McCollum and Randall Robinson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Mauk, John Snuggs and the Deacons of Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Green will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
