Mary, affectionately known as "MeMaw", had a passion for baking, often filling her home with the delightful scents of freshly baked cakes and pies. She enjoyed tending the vibrant flowers she grew, and assisted her dear husband, Charles, in cultivating their garden where they produced an array of vegetables that brought her joy and nourished her family. Mary was a skilled seamstress and derived a great deal of joy and satisfaction from making clothes for her family over the years.

Beyond her hobbies, Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She supported her husband with unwavering devotion, sharing laughter and memories together throughout the years. She was a dedicated mother who guided her children with compassion and wisdom, always making time for their dreams and needs. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, imparting her love and life lessons to future generations. Her warm spirit and nurturing nature left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Mary was a faithful worshipper of her god, Jehovah, and served him to the best of her ability for many years.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Hobbs; son, Charles Steven Hobbs; and granddaughter, Autumn Hobbs.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her daughter & son-in-law, Theresa & Michael O'Barr; sisters, Judy Knight and Robbin Knight; grandchildren, Heath O'Barr, Casie Campeau, and Blake Hobbs; and great-grandchildren, Bailey O'Barr and Peyton O'Barr.
