It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Rogers Lloyd, age 89, of Carrollton Georgia, on August 8, 2026. Born on December 7, 1936, in Appling County, to the late Leonard Kramer "L.K." Rogers and Bertha Criswell Rogers.

Mary found great joy in her role as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Christine Morgan, Carl and Ruth Lloyd, Carolyn Reno, Regina and Tim Morgan, Alford and Michelle Lloyd, and Rebecca and Scott Lester. She was also a proud grandmother to 24 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 39 great-grandchildren. In addition, Mary is survived by her sister, Wanda Simmons, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life Carl "Bud" Lloyd Sr. to whom she was married to for 65 wonderful years, daughter, Pamela Seagroves, granddaughter, Jessica Lloyd, son-in-law, Don Morgan, sisters, Bessie Adams and Evelyn Landon, brothers, Cleveland Rogers, Jack Rogers, and Eugene O'Berry.

Mary was an active member of Community Bible Church, where she found solace and fellowship. She delighted in cooking and sewing, often sharing her culinary creations and handmade items with family and friends.

Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her commitment to her faith. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Martin and Hightower Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memory Gardens with Jonathan Morgan, David Morgan, Michael Maverly, Carly Lloyd III, Eric Reno, Jacob Lester, Shawn Maverly, and Tim Taylor serving as pallbearers.
