Mary Kight
Tyler
Jun 18, 1948 — Feb 10, 2025
Mary Kight Tyler, 76, of Bremen, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born on June 18, 1948, in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late James Kight and Ocie Brown Kight.
She graduated from Carver High School in 1966. After that, she pursued further education and completed the Dental Program at The Art Institute of Atlanta in 1968. Starting in 1969, she worked diligently for Dr. Harvey Smith in Atlanta, GA. In 1978, she joined Dr. Robert Anthony in Carrollton, GA, until 2004, when she transitioned to her most recent position with Dr. Hector Bush at Orthodontics Care of Georgia, where she was instrumental in streamlining office operations and enhancing patient care. She was passionate about her dental career and dedicated over 40 years to the field.
Mary had a deep passion for arts and crafts outside of her professional life. Her creativity shone through her work as a floral designer, where she skillfully crafted beautiful floral arrangements for numerous proms, weddings, and special events, leaving lasting impressions on everyone who experienced her artistry. With an anointed voice to sing, she also played piano. Mary was a joy to all; her contagious smile would brighten any room.
Mary was not only a devoted professional but also a loving wife, a supportive sister, a nurturing mother, and a cherished grandmother. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Tyler, and her sister, Annette Kight.
She leaves behind her loving family, which includes her sons, Kirkpatrick Easley and Adrian Dowell; grandchildren, Angel Easley, Jordan Easley, Kirstyn Easley, and Sanyah Bullock; sisters & brother-in-law, Linda & James Houston and Frances Kight; brothers & sisters-in-law, Aaron & Laura Kight and Walter & Nacole Kight; and her furry French bulldog, Chucky.
The family will hold a memorial service to honor and celebrate Mary's life in the coming days.
Our family humbly thanks everyone for all the expressions of love given to us during our time of sorrow. May God continue to bless each of you.
