Medhat Yassa "Mr. Mike", 64, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1961, in Cairo, Egypt to the late Guirguis F. Yassa and Laila N. Yassa. He was a business owner for over 30 years.

He is survived by his children, Alexander Paul Yassa, Nicole Lilja, Gabriela Lilja, Simon Yassa, Benjamin Yassa; sisters, Elham Bellias and Laura Yassa; mother, Laila N. Yassa; and 3 grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Magdi Yassa.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Mr. Mike will always remember him for his kindness, his generosity, and his heart of gold. He touched countless lives with his gentle words, his warm smile, and his unwavering willingness to help others.

Though he may no longer walk among us, the memories of his kindness will forever live in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that his light will never fade; it will shine on in the stories we share, the lessons we carry, and the love he gave so freely.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jon Smith officiating.

Rest in peace Mr. Mike. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
