Michael Mike Reeves of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1963 in Haralson County, son of Frances Janney Thurber Hurst and the late Kenneth Cecil Reeves. Mr. Reeves was a former employee of the Southwire Company. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Brian Reeves. Survivors include his mother, Frances Hurst of Bremen; a son, Christopher Michael Reeves of Carrollton; a brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Kimberly Reeves of Felton; a grandchild and companion, Christy Davis of Tallapoosa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will be Friday, November 20 at 2:00 PM from the Bremen First Baptist Church with Brother Herman Parker officiating. Music was furnished by Reverend Andy Fowler accompanied by Sue Ezzell. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tyler Sweatt, Joe Sims, Terry Williamson, Bob Hurst, Mitch Dennis and Frank Horton. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bremen First Baptist Church.
