Micheal (Bear) John Golden of Frances White Road, Draketown, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 from injuries in an automobile accident. He was born in Douglas County, February 9, 1981, son of Gerald and Marlene Watts Golden. Mr. Golden was an employee of the Haralson County Water Authority. Survivors include parents, Gerald and Marlene Golden of Draketown; brother, Keith and Beth Golden of Bremen, paternal grandparents, Harland and Evelyn Golden of Buchanan, a niece, Chloe Golden and a nephew, Kaden Golden. Services will be Wednesday, October 27 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Wilburn and Rev. Aaron Johnson officiating. Music will be furnished by Timmy Hand, Alton Stamie and Katie Williams. Craig Gentry, Tyler Brown, Shane Crews, David Smith, Daniel Smith, Steve Harvey, Brandon Heath,Tommy Payne, Ken Barkley and Danny Wayne Swann will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Pineywoods Church Cemetery.
