Michael "Mike" Fred Wheeling, 54, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1971, in Marietta, Georgia, to the late Marvin "Jack" Wheeling Sr. and Phyllis Poore Wheeling.

Mike graduated from Wills High School in Smyrna, Georgia. He found joy in writing poetry. His afternoons were frequently spent meticulously assembling intricate model cars, where each detail brought him a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, he relished the thrill of thrifting and exploring yard sales, always looking for unique treasures and hidden gems that held their own stories.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Wheeling.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Wright Wheeling; his daughters, Angel Wheeling and Hope Wheeling Taylor; his sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Tony Crowley; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Laura Wheeling, and Tim and Katelyn Wheeling; as well as his nieces and nephews: Stephen, Mark, Timothy, Maria, Harley, Preston, Cheyenne, Dakota, and Aretta.

A memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate Mike's life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Consolation Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Powers officiating.
