Nancy Collene Deal, age 86, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Howard Gosnell and the late Virginia Holt Gosnell. Collene was retired from Douglas County Board of Education, where she worked as Turner Middle School's secretary for 45 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs.

Collene is survived by her children, Pat Deal (Joy), Bryant Deal; sister, Karen Gosnell Williams; great-grandchild, Jordan Deal.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by Don Deal, her husband of more than 47 years, and her grandson, Jeffrey Deal.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with pastor Kevin McKoy officiating.

Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
