Nancy Mae 'Fritts' Smith, age 74, of Blairsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024. Born on February 22, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lonis Lee Fritts and Mary Louise 'Franklin' Sanders.

Nancy dedicated much of her life to serving others, working at the Lakeside General Deli where she made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her kind heart, generosity, and dedication to others will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Ronnie Fritts, Thomas Fritts, and David Fritts.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly, including her children, Michelle Duke, Missy Sanders, Samantha Easler, and Scott Wallace; brothers, Joe Fritts (Callie) and Rick Fritts (Shelia); sisters-in-law, Donna Fritts, Ginny Fritts, and Teena Fritts; grandchildren, Nicky Wright, Sandy Wright, Robbie Wright, Kayla Sanders, Joseph Shirey, William Shirey, Idalis Marks, Kierston Marks, Kasin Easler, Jonah Easler, Katarina Robinson, and Nicole Wallace; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were a source of immense joy in her life.

Nancy's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her warmth and compassion. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to bring comfort to those who loved her.
