Nell Powers Lee, age 82 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013. She was born July 06, 1930 to the late Mr. Henry Powers and Mrs. Mamie Carter Powers. She worked in the textile industry and retired as an inspector with Hubbard's. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Howard Lee; and a sister, Helen Powers Harden. Survivors include son and daughter-n-law, Robert and Diane Lee of Carrollton; grandchildren, Lori Beth Lee, Anna and Wesley Wilborn, and Zachary Robert Lee; and one great-grandchild, Maddy Wilborn. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM from Bethesda Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton Rivers officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wesley Wilborn, Zachary Lee, Kim Horton, Dan Harden, Jack Harden, Mike Lee, and David Lyle.
