Norma Jean Davis, 50 of Bowdon passed away on May 1, 2023 in a local healthcare facility.

She was born on April 9, 1973 in Ranburne, Alabama, the daughter of the late Robert Lovvorn Smith and Lucilla Woodard Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Lamar "Marty" Davis of Bowdon; son, Robert "Luke" Davis of Bowdon; sisters, Martha Davis of AL, Sue Stockton (Jeremy) of Temple, and Diane Hall of Roopville; brothers, Jerry Smith (Amanda) of Ranburne, AL and Jeff Smith (Melissa) of Ranburne, AL.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Services will follow at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend David Gray officiating. Jeff Davis, Jeffrey Davis, Jr., Austin Davis, Andrew Robinson, Jerry Smith, and Jeff Smith will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Waco Baptist Church Cemetery.
