Ollie Jacqueline Griffis Helton, age 98, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on May 19, 2025. She was born in Athens, Alabama on August 5, 1926, daughter of the late Jack Griffis and the late Ollie Lamon Griffis. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Douglasville.

She is survived by her children: Judy Shore and her husband Darrell, Tim Helton; grandchildren: Shannon Davidson and her husband Jeremy, Sandy Wynn and her husband Jason, Bradley Stephen Shore, Piper Lynne Helton; great-grandchildren: Garrett Driscoll, Hunter Driscoll, Stone Wynn, Chandler Wynn, Memphis Cooper, Mavrick Davidson, Slade Davidson, Shore Davidson, Riley Cooper; great-greatgrandchildren: Lane Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law: Tara Fortune-Helton.

A graveside service will be held at Rose Haven Cemetery on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Matthew White officiating.
